Nancy Jamison is an independent market analyst with expertise in the areas of unified communications, speech technologies, contact centers, and social media as it applies to those areas. A respected analyst in the industry, Ms. Jamison regularly authors content for vendors and industry press, and has spoken at many customer and industry events. She provides a number of services to vendors and end user clients including market research, competitive market analysis and market assessments, messaging and positioning, and custom consulting projects. She is a regular contributor to Speech Technology Magazine and is part of the UCStrategies team of experts.
Her more than twenty-five years of industry experience include five years as a Director and Principal Analyst at Gartner Group/Dataquest in the Voice Systems North America program of Dataquest's Telecommunications group. While at Dataquest, she created US and Worldwide market share and forecast reports for the voice messaging and interactive voice response markets. Additionally, she created industry-leading research in these, and several other markets, including speech technologies, multi-channel contact centers, and unified messaging.
Prior to Dataquest, Ms. Jamison spent 13 years at Siemens Business Communications (formerly ROLM Corporation), in marketing, product planning and competitive analysis, in the areas of PBX, call centers, voice messaging and interactive voice response.
Ms Jamison holds a B.S. degree in linguistics from the University of California at Berkeley.
